Better late than Never! Heres a Little guide to where to go for the best vegan eats in Krakow Poland!
I have to say I was expecting to find something vegan to eat in Krakow (since I did do my research before going) but I was not expecting how many vegan places there were and just how amazingly delicious they would be! if you are able to go to krakow for the weekend and want to visit auschwitz or just go for a little city trip i would definitely recommend it, even, if you just go for all the delicious foods, its totally worth it. Heres my top 5 places that I will definitely come back and visit again some day.
VEGETABLE FARM BURGEROWNIA

This is a super cute vegan restaurant in the middle of the city center. We ate ourselves into a vegan food coma here as we wanted to try EVERYTHING.
we had both the vegan Hotdog, traditional polish bread with tomato sauce, seitan, mushrooms and vegan cheese, and the burger which was all very big portions and all equally satisfying and delicious. they have a million different sauces to choose from but we chose mayo and mustard on the hotdog, garlic on the breads and bbq and cheese sauce on the burger. the juices are also quite spectacular and especially the one with banana, spirulina, lemon and cucumber is really good! the prices are also cheap, and we paid around 3-5 euro per. dish.
MAZAYA FALAFEL

we stumbled upon this place quite randomly as it was next to our hotel, but what a great surprise! coming from Berlin, there is nothing amazingly new or interesting about a falafel/hummus plate. its Literally on every street corner of Berlin, It‘s cheap and its good quality. so we were reluctant to go and have something that we know we can get at home. But i tell you, if your a huge hummus lover like myself this place is really not to miss out on. everything from the complimentary cinnamon tea, to the fresh warm bread, to the perfectly smooth hummus and soft but crunchy falafels were just perfect. I could have easily eaten this all day and be happy. the meal was around 2.50 euros which is a pretty decent price.
VEGAB

Several people told me to go check this place out before going to Krakow, So naturally it was the first stop on our tour. And let me tell ya' - it didnt dissapoint! in fact, it was so delicious that we went their everyday of our trip just to try different options. we both agreed that our favorite was the #1 called Beirut. it was around 2.80 euro for one vegan kebab.
MO-JA CAFÉ AND BISTRO

We randomly went to this café to get something hot to drink as it was FREEZING cold outside (-14 degrees!!) i had a really good cinnamon/cardamom Latte and a superfood bar. we looked at the menu and eventhough the place wasnt vegan, there were a lot of vegan options! if we would have been able to squeeze in any food in our stomachs, we would have for sure ate here as both the style of the place, and the little that we did have all made us really love the place.
CAFE MLYNEK

This little café was another place we passed by, that I wanted to visit. Cafe Mlynek, had delicious vegan breakfast on their menu including vegan pancakes, vegan brunch and cake.
Unfortunately, you can only fit so much food into one weekend, and this will be a place I will try to visit next time i visit Krakow.
